Welcome to the Utah Psychiatric Association

"First they came for the Communists, but I was not a Communist so I did not speak out. Then they came for the Socialists and the Trade Unionists, but I was neither, so I did not speak out. Then they came for the Jews, but I was not a Jew so I did not speak out. And when they came for me, there was no one left to speak out for me." - Rev. Martin Niemoller, 1945

The Utah Psychiatric Association is a District Branch of the American Psychiatric Society. The UPA, together with its parent organization, the APA, fights for you and your patients. The UPA is a strong advocate in the State of Utah in promoting psychiatry as a profession. Together with the APA, we offer information, support, and educational opportunities, including CME activities, to help you serve your patients and enhance your career (see www.psychiatry.org). We aim to decrease the sense of isolation that often accompanies psychiatric practice, especially in the more remote or underserved communities in the State. We speak for you!
